COVID-19 2nd Update - May 2020
The good news is that I have, finally, secured some hens that I’m happy with. Woo-hoo! The bad news is that my wholesale price went up by $6 per hen and I can’t absorb that. Grrrrrrr!
The price of hens on their own is now $45 per hen, despite what the website says (as I don’t want to change it permanently if the hen price comes down).
The price of the Std coop will not change, but the XL coop package is now $600 ($50 more than advertised) because I’ve found that they are taking a lot longer than I thought to build and I hadn’t factored that in. The wait time is a bit longer for XL coops. Go for the std coop I say.
Existing feed customers, my wholesale feed price went up more than $300/tonne between October and Feb. Country Heritage said it was a drought/fires/poor harvest combo. To try and keep the numbers round, I’ve put the price up to $45 a bag and absorbed the difference.
The best way to contact me is text 0409 246 651 with your name and what you are after and I will get back to you as soon as I am able.
