Whilst our business is based around the construction and sale of chicken coops, many customers have requested some assistance with handyman type tasks at their houses over the years. I do not profess to be a tradesman, however I am capable of doing the odd small job to assist those who are 'challenged' in the field of home repairs.
Capabilities include:
- Basic carpentry
- Welding
- Tiling
- Painting
- Industrial canvas work (shadecloth awnings, boat covers, luggage repair etc)
- Furniture repair and basic upholstery
- Handyman, fix-it stuff
Unfortunately my availability is quite limited as I run Rentachook in addition to having a full time job and handyman work has to take last place I'm afraid. I say this as an apology in advance to avoid disappointment if I am not able to help out.
Rate: $40 per hour or as agreed
I can also recommend a couple of friends of mine who are tradesmen and trustworthy (and thoroughly nice people). Both are honest as the day is long and helpful with suggestions for alternative ideas to solve a problem.
Pete Davis - Precision Carpentry and Maintenance
Pete can do or fix pretty much anything and is a qualified carpenter with a lot of experience in house renovations and construction. If there's anything I'm not sure about I ask Pete first. Pete works mainly in Sydney 's north shore and northern suburbs but can be persuaded to go further afield.

Trevor McGill - Licensed Electrician
Trevor is a sparkie who is really helpful for those small jobs like new power points, new lights or any electrical work associated with extensions or renovations. Trev sticks pretty much to Sydney 's northern suburbs but ask if he'll go further, he can only say no.
