Chooks at School

Rentachook is happy to loan a chicken coop and two hens to schools in Sydney free of charge as an educational tool, and we only request a plug in the P&C newsletter in return.

There is a delivery charge of $50 to northern Sydney and $60 to southern Sydney and a pickup charge of $40/$50 if required. The delivery charge includes setting up and as much time as you need to answer all your questions (and build your confidence in your new venture).

Alternatively, someone at the school with a ute, box trailer or sturdy roofracks can come and pick it up/drop it off (saving the delivery fee).

The school (or a parent) needs to provide a cheque covering the cost of the coop ($360) which will either not be banked (and held in lieu of the return of the coop and chooks) or it will be banked and the full amount refunded upon safe return as you prefer.

If, at the end of term, one of the parents would like to keep the coop and chooks they are most welcome to and I’ll bank and spend the moolah.
